Flagstaff

Update: 2011-08-12

The first known report of someone skating on this was in 2011. There is a small firepond at an altitude of 594 m which showed promise for future skateable conditions when inspected on July 13th, 2011 and it was first skated on a few weeks later. The pond is small, but is well sheletered from the elements and is a good proposition for skating when the conditions in Dunedin are just right.

Inlet

There is a very small inlet on the other side of the road from the main firepond. Ryan Hellyer reported falling through this when attempting to skate on it on July 13th, 2011. The inlet is very small with barely enough room to skate.
